for Practitioners

Like the other pages in this section of the DART site, I’m trying here to collect together various useful resources for practitioners (health, education, social and charitable sector) who support people with autism and their families. The focus will inevitably be on technology, because that’s where a lot of our research is focused and its also a place where many feel out of their depth. If you are a practitioner who would like more guidance on how to engage with research evidence a good plce to start is the Autism Research Toolkit, published by the splendid folks at the Wales Autism Research Centre, but relevant all over the UK.

Public Engagement Outputs: this section lists talks for general audiences, often practitioners and parents of children with autism. In most cases there is a link to downloadable slides and other resources.
