Autism is a phenomenon which captures the public’s interest, not least because almost everyone now has a personal connection to some one with autism, whether it is a colleague, a neighbour, a friend or a family member. Likewise, iPads and other fairly new technologies are always of interest.  DART is keen to contribute to the public’s understanding of research and we are therefore happy to be approached by journalists looking for expert commentary on relevant stories in developmental psychology.

Sue recently attended a BBC Academy Expert Women’s Day and is happy to comment on work with and for people with autism and their supporters, as well as research in new technologies and issues such as the appropriate amount of screen time for young children.
